Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was mixed with some highlights and a few disappointments. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the friendly staff made my experience enjoyable. I appreciated the beautiful surroundings and the cozy restaurant, but the dining options could use some improvement, especially at breakfast. While it offered decent value for the price, I did find the lack of a family kitchen frustrating, and the room setup could use some tweaking for better functionality.
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel while completing the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. The location was fantastic and offered a great atmosphere, especially with a sports event happening. The rooms were clean, although a bit compact. The dining experience was enjoyable on the first night, but we faced some challenges regarding facilities in our room. Overall, I found the hotel to be good value for money, but some improvements could enhance the experience further.
Overall, the lodge has a great location for outdoor activities, especially if you're planning on hiking the nearby parks. The rooms are clean but quite small, making it a bit cramped, especially for families. The bathroom facilities are also limited with only one small sink, which can be a hassle for more than one person. The dining options were convenient, but I found the packed lunch to be subpar compared to what I would have preferred to prepare myself.
We had a mixed experience at the hotel. On one hand, the location is fantastic with a restaurant and bar on-site, and the rooms are newly refurbished and clean. On the other hand, the dining options could use improvement, and overall, the service was lacking in key areas, especially regarding our check-in. While the stay had its perks, the negatives were quite noticeable, making it challenging to fully enjoy our visit.
I had a pleasant stay at the Park Hotel during my skiing trip to Mt Ruapehu. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cozy log fire, and the food was delicious. However, my room was a bit noisy, and I experienced some issues with the bed and bathroom layout. Overall, it was a charming place to stay with some room for improvement.
